Compassionate Care, Right Where You Belong
We believe care is more than just a service. It’s about comfort, trust, and helping you live well in the place you love most. At Bluebird Care Barking & Dagenham, we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality home care that supports your independence and brings peace of mind to families.
Who We Are
At Bluebird Care Barking & Dagenham, we’re more than just a care provider we’re a team of dedicated professionals with a shared purpose: to help people live safely and comfortably in the place they know best, their own home.
We’ve been proudly supporting our local community since 2012, delivering person-centred care with compassion, dignity, and respect. Whether it’s a helping hand with day-to-day tasks or full-time live-in care, our mission is to make life easier and more fulfilling for the people we care for.
What We Do
We provide a range of high-quality care services designed to support you or your loved one at home where comfort, familiarity, and independence matter most. Whether it’s just a few hours a week or 24-hour live-in care, our team is here to help.
Home Care (Domiciliary Care)
Also known as domiciliary care, this service means receiving personalised support while remaining in the comfort of your own home. We help with tasks like washing, dressing, medication, mobility, meal preparation, and companionship — always with respect and compassion.
Live-In Care
For those who need round-the-clock support, live-in care is a wonderful alternative to residential care homes. A fully trained carer lives with you in your home, offering constant reassurance and tailored assistance while preserving your daily routines and independence.
- Alternative to a care home – Keep your independence and stay in your own home with full-time support.
- Live-in care for individuals – One-to-one care that’s built entirely around your needs and preferences.
- Live-in care for couples – Supportive care that allows both partners to stay together at home, even when one or both need assistance.
- Short-term respite care – Temporary live-in care that offers family carers a much-needed break or extra support during recovery periods.
Complex Care
Our complex care services are designed for people with advanced or long-term health conditions who still wish to live at home. Each care plan is created with clinical input and tailored to suit medical needs, daily routines, and personal preferences.
- Dementia & Alzheimer’s Disease Care – Specialised support for individuals living with memory loss, confusion, or changing behaviour. We focus on building trust, routine, and comfort in familiar surroundings.
- Palliative & End of Life Care – Compassionate care that prioritises comfort, dignity, and quality of life for individuals in the final stages of illness. We support both individuals and their families during this sensitive time.
- Parkinson’s Disease Care – Practical help and emotional support to manage daily symptoms, maintain independence, and improve overall wellbeing.
- Reablement Services – Short-term, focused support after a hospital stay, illness, or injury — designed to help you regain skills and confidence in daily life.
The overall care provided by Bluebird has been excellent from the very beginning. Communication has always been clear and easy, and every carer they've sent has been a great support to my mother. - E.L
