For Learning Disability Awareness Week, we want to shine a light on someone who brings a smile to all of us – Jasmine.
Over the years we’ve supported Jazz, we’ve seen her grow in confidence and really come into her own. She has such a lovely personality, and it’s been a joy to watch her become more and more comfortable sharing that with the people around her.
Jasmine loves getting out and about – she’s happiest on the pier, playing crazy golf, or going on the bumper cars. She enjoys her dance and sports clubs, and she always looks forward to getting dressed up for a disco. And nothing beats a good pie and mash for lunch!
She often visits our office with her carers, and it’s always such a pleasure to see her. Her presence is gentle, warm and full of character – a reminder of why we do what we do.
A big thank you to her wonderful care team – Cheryl, Amelia, Marie, and Jackie – for the support and encouragement they give every single day. With their care and consistency, Jasmine continues to thrive.
