We bring news from our team's trip to the Bluebird Care Awards, held in London.
The event was hosted at the stunning Royal Horseguards Hotel, in the historic Gladstone Library — a beautiful setting that perfectly reflected the calibre of our finalists. Founded by William Gladstone, four-time British Prime Minister, the venue even boasts a connection to Winston Churchill and is home to the largest free-standing staircase in Europe — which remarkably survived a bombing during WWII. Surrounded by thousands of books in a majestic drawing room, it was the perfect place to celebrate excellence in care and in particular our team.
After some drinks and delicious food, our finalists had all the fuel they needed to lift a trophy, and the awards ceremony began — and our team, already proud to be among the top 2% of over 10,000 employees across the entire network, were ready.
How many awards could we win? Was it realistic to have such high expectations.....
