We take immense pride in supporting our customers through every stage of life’s journey. This Older People’s Day, we were especially excited to celebrate with one of our cherished customers, Jenny Gravesend, as she returns home after a stay in hospital.
Jenny, a member of our Bluebird Care family, was delighted to be back in the comfort of her own home after her hospital recovery. Welcomed by her dedicated carers, she expressed how happy she was to return to the familiar faces and the care she’s come to trust.
Jenny shared, “It’s been such a comfort to be back home, and I couldn’t ask for better people to be by my side. The care team has always been so wonderful.”
In honour of Older People’s Day this year, our carers celebrated by presenting Jenny and other customers with thoughtful gifts, including chocolates and special treats. This day is a reminder of the valuable contributions and wisdom that older generations bring to our communities, and we wanted to show our appreciation in a small but meaningful way.
