Bluebird Care Coffee Morning: Promoting Companionship and Wellbeing in Lewisham & Southwark

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this month’s Bluebird Care Coffee Morning! Our theme was wellbeing, and it was a pleasure to introduce our customers to our new Bluebird Care Wellbeing Check. The response was overwhelmingly positive  customers were curious, reassured and genuinely excited to hear how this new service can support their health at home.

A Morning of Connection, Community and Care

Our coffee mornings are far more than a chance to share a drink  they are a space for friendship, conversation and belonging. From warm chats to plenty of cake, the room was filled with smiles, laughter and the comfort of being together.

These gatherings make a real difference for those who may otherwise feel isolated or alone. They create gentle moments of connection and companionship, which are just as important to wellbeing as physical health.

Supporting Wellbeing Beyond Care Visits

By bringing our Wellbeing Check to the group for the first time, customers were able to learn more about how we can monitor key health indicators at home and spot early changes before they become bigger problems. Many told us they felt reassured knowing it’s delivered by a trusted local team who know them personally.
