Team Lewisham Walks 100 Miles for Breast Cancer Awareness
This October, our amazing team members Kate, Tikeera, Sue and Maria are taking on a 100-mile walking challenge to raise awareness and show support for everyone affected by breast cancer.
They’re walking with purpose, passion and pink power, representing Bluebird Care Lewisham & Southwark in solidarity with families, survivors and those currently undergoing treatment.
Why We Walk
Breast cancer affects thousands of people and families across the UK every year. By taking part in this challenge, our team is helping to raise both awareness and vital funds for ongoing research, care and support.
“We wanted to do something active and meaningful that brings hope to others. Every mile is for someone’s mum, daughter, sister, friend or colleague — and together we’re walking for a future without breast cancer.”
– Kate, Bluebird Care Lewisham & Southwark
How You Can Support the Challenge
You can help by cheering the team on, spreading the word — or donating directly to their fundraising page:
Every mile walked and every pound raised moves us closer to a world where breast cancer can be prevented, treated earlier, and beaten for good.
Join Us in Showing Support
We’re incredibly proud of the team and their commitment to making a difference in our community. Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing updates on their progress — so keep an eye out!
Together, let’s turn miles into meaning, hope into action, and awareness into support.
