Liam joins Bluebird Care after a decade of experience in the corporate world. Liam knew the time had come to put the skills and experience gained in finance and business development to good use, and Bluebird Care was the perfect choice! Liam is extremely proud to lead one of the few CQC Outstanding rated providers in the county. Liam believes having a well-trained, well supported, and happy workforce is key to delivering smiles on customers faces day after day. Away from work when he is not following Manchester United, he likes to spend time with his partner, son and their dogs on country walks and enjoying pub lunches.

Melissa Moore

Working closely alongside Liam, Melissa is our General Manager. With a first-class degree in business and management, Melissa has over ten years management experience and has managed teams of over one hundred and fifty people. Through her management experience Melissa brings strong leadership skills to the team, such as planning and problem solving, with a focus on ensuring a strong and consistent internal structure within the service. Through personal experiences, Melissa has experienced how life-changing a reliable care service can be, and has recognised how her own experiences have resulted in a passion for being a part of a service, which aims to go above and beyond in the care that it provides for its customers. Bluebird Care Cheshire East embodies a real family feel, with a person-centred approach which ensures our customers are at the heart of what we do. Bluebird Care felt like the perfect fit for Melissa, as a new mum she has come to deeply appreciate the importance of family and strives to replicate these values within the service.

Richard Corner profile picture

Richard Corner

Richard Corner joined Bluebird Care in 2025 as our Head of Service. Throughout his career, Richard has been a key member of different teams, supporting and leading strategic improvement and staff development. A Registered Children’s Nurse with over a decade of experience in paediatric critical care and community health, he brings both clinical expertise and a strong governance background to his role. Richard began his professional journey at The Royal Cornwall Hospital in the children’s accident and emergency department before advancing his skills in paediatric intensive care at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. He went on to specialise in managing complex paediatric cases and long term ventilation in the community, combining frontline practice with senior leadership responsibilities. In his current role, Richard leads teams in delivering safe, patient‑centred care aligned with national standards. He is known for his meticulous approach to compliance, his ability to translate complex standards into practical everyday excellence, and his commitment to fostering a culture where colleagues feel supported, valued, and empowered. Passionate about quality, governance, and professional development. His focus is always on trust, professionalism, and achieving positive outcomes for both staff and the people supported by Bluebird Care.

Natasha Uijen

Natasha joined our Care Assistant team in February 2024 and progressed to our Supervisor team in February 2025. After spending just over seven months in this role, she was promoted to Deputy Manager. Advancing through these stages has given Natasha an exceptional understanding of our customers, staff, and business operations from multiple perspectives—providing her with a deep insight into how Bluebird Care Cheshire East runs. Natasha has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and has built wonderful relationships with both our customers and her colleagues. She holds a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, along with academic achievements in Psychology and Biology. Dedicated to continuous professional development, Natasha has also completed qualifications in Social Work Law, Attachment in Early Years, Communicating with Young People, Management in Health and Social Care, and Supporting Primary Education. Her diverse skill set enriches the care she provides and strengthens the support she offers to our customers, supervisors and care assistants. Natasha is currently working towards completing her Level 4 qualification in Adult Health and Social Care, further enhancing her expertise and leadership within our team.

Kavita ensures smooth day-to-day operations by managing IT systems, resolving technical issues, and handling scheduling, compliance, invoicing, and payroll. They also support our marketing by updating the website and managing social media. Kavita’s strength lies in optimizing processes and using digital tools to support both staff and clients efficiently.

In her role as Care Coordinator, Molly works closely with Melissa to ensure our customers receive the best possible support while also providing guidance and encouragement to our amazing care team. Communication is really important to Molly—she believes in building strong relationships based on trust, understanding, and a shared commitment to compassionate care. With a friendly and approachable nature, Molly strives to make sure that both our customers and staff feel valued and supported. Molly is full of exciting plans for the future of Bluebird Care, aiming to enhance our services, grow our team, and continue making a positive impact in our community.
