On 13th September, our team proudly joined fellow Bluebird Care offices in taking on the challenge of climbing Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) – Wales’ highest peak – in support of the Alzheimer’s Society.
The day was filled with determination, laughter, and a few tears along the way, as we tackled the mountain together. After 7 hours of walking, testing both stamina and spirit, we reached the summit – with a bit of extra encouragement from Teddy, our enthusiastic labrador, who bounded ahead and kept everyone smiling!
This climb was especially meaningful to us, as we did it in honour of all our customers, friends, and family members who have been affected by dementia. Every step taken was a tribute to them, and a reminder of why raising awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Society is so important.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we are thrilled to share that we have raised over £1,000, contributing to the grand total of over £5,000 raised collectively by the Central Region offices of Bluebird Care.
We are incredibly proud to have played our part in this fundraising effort and grateful to everyone who donated and cheered us on. Together, we proved that while climbing Snowdon may not have been easy, it was absolutely worth it.
