We support some incredibly gifted people with amazing stories to tell.

Another beautiful poem from one of our customers.

She tells of happy times spent travelling North of the Border.

Pam's Prose

In Pam's words,

ENCLOSED VERSE FOR NEW YEAR

I thought about Caledonia - many happy times there.

They really now how to celebrate HOGMANAY, and rightly so

Aye Bannockburn’s a bonnie stream.

Glinting her way round Stirling Bridge,

In her dark eyes I see long ago dream,

Or glory on every Guardian ridge

The Autumn sunset flings red fire

Over the Auld gray silhouette

Over the castle, Kirk and Spire

Kindling bright heartbeat glory yet

And pale as dawn is, shadows see still

Carrying silver light around

My sleep, surreal with image fill

Drifts undisturbed to higher ground

And I have travelled to Bannockburn

One night of rain, and day as dark

My heart saw distant armies turn

A long time ago, in a memories spark

Or was it the dreamer

Or the stream’s dark song

Men’s eyes to the Castle

And Crown were drawn

Or the distant vision

Visons among

To the auld grey Kingdom,

In a different dawn

Maybe I should find rest in easy sleep

Leaving the darkness and storm behind

Leaving the Bannockburn, ethereal and deep

Images infinite, forever, in my heart and mind.
