Steve Davie - Director

Steve

My background is in professional services and I first came across the Care sector as a customer for my elderly loved ones. This experience persuaded me that Care could be “done better” and this led me to establish Bluebird Care’s offices in Bromley, Sevenoaks and Lewisham/Southwark. I am determined that our offices provide an excellent and responsive service to our customers from an organisation offering a supportive and rewarding environment in which committed people can develop and thrive

Ben Davie

Ben

I’ve worked in Home Care since 2011, when I joined my father, Steve, to help make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people in our area. We set high standards and we invest in quality care and staff development: we’ve found that only the private paying sector makes this approach possible. I’m very proud of our staff and the impact their work makes on the lives of our customers. We deliver the quality of care that everyone would want for their loved family members in their final years.

Our mission at Bluebird Care is simple — to deliver care we’d be proud to give our own loved ones. I’m incredibly proud of our dedicated team and the difference they make in people’s lives every single day.

Sarah

Sarah, Deputy Manager and Care Supervisor

I have extensive experience in the Care Sector, both in residential and in home care. I’ve learned that basically “there’s no place like home” – and I love the fact that our work enables vulnerable people to delay – or avoid- the stress of uprooting their lives. My role is to ensure that the care that we arrange is centred around the needs of each customer and to coach and mentor the Care Assistants so that we deliver a high quality service.

Amy

Amy, Care Supervisor

I joined Bluebird Care in 2017 as a Care Assistant, after being inspired by the Bluebird carers that looked after my Nan. I’m passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of our customers and I love the smiles that I receive when I visit. My role is to ensure that new customers have a great experience when they join our service and that Care Assistants experience the high levels of support that I was lucky enough to have. This is important work, and I love it.

As a Care Supervisor, I’m here to support our carers and ensure every customer receives consistent, high-quality care they can trust.

With a foundation in Health and Social Care from college, I knew I wanted a meaningful career in Care. I joined Bluebird Care Sevenoaks in 2022 as an Office Administrator and progressed to Care Co-ordinator. My role is to organise logistics, ensuring that Care Assistants go where they’re needed at the times they’re expected and deploying our advanced systems. Things can change quickly in Care, and I have to stay calm under pressure, finding solutions, negotiating responses - but always prioritising high-quality care for every customer.

As a Care Co-ordinator, I take pride in ensuring every care visit runs smoothly and every customer receives the support they need, when they need it. It’s about more than just scheduling it’s about building trust, listening to families, and making sure our care teams feel confident and supported everyday.
