Yesterday, our Bluebird Care team completed an impressive 12.7km walk from our Boldon office to the iconic Penshaw
This walk wasn’t just about reaching a destination, it marked a meaningful moment as we proudly collected the relay baton from Bluebird Care Sunderland, preparing to pass it on to our colleagues at Bluebird Care Gateshead.
Our walk was part of a nationwide pledge to raise £50,000 for Alzheimer's Society , a cause close to our hearts. With every step, we demonstrated our commitment to helping create a brighter future for those affected by dementia. As part of Bluebird Care, we understand the importance of supporting this crucial cause. We walk not only for awareness but for action.
Currently, 1 in 3 people born today are projected to develop dementia in their lifetime, a startling statistic that drives our determination. We believe in building a future where dementia is better understood and where those living with it receive the compassionate care and support they need.
By joining this initiative, we’re standing together with Bluebird Care teams across the country to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's Society. Every step we take brings us closer to a world where dementia is no longer feared but faced with knowledge, empathy, and resources to provide the best possible care.
