Bluebird Care South Tyneside has recently undergone an external audit conducted by South Tyneside Council, which reviewed our Complex Care service. The audit focused on five critical areas: Service Assessment, Care Plan Assessment, Service Experience Assessment, Clinical Assessment, and Specialism.
We are delighted to report that Bluebird Care achieved an impressive score of 97.50%, reflecting our commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care to the most vulnerable members of our community.
This remarkable achievement is the result of our hardworking operations team, whose expertise and dedication have been instrumental in maintaining the high standards of our complex care service. The success is also down to key contributions from having a Clinical oversight, which provides clinical skill and training for all of our complex care packages, ensuring they meet the needs of each individual customer.
We also want to acknowledge the outstanding work of our care assistants, who deliver hands-on care with professionalism and compassion every day. Their dedication to ensuring the well-being of our customers, especially in complex care cases, is central to our service’s success. Their role is vital in providing a high standard of care that meets both clinical and personal needs.
John Nesbitt, Registered Manager at Bluebird Care South Tyneside, shared his thoughts on the audit results:

With clinical oversight, the operations team’s expertise, and our care assistants' tireless work, we ensure that every complex care package is managed with precision and compassion. This result confirms that our focus on quality and specialist care is making a real difference."
