Celebrating 15 Years of Care and Community – A Wonderful Day for a Worthy Cause

On 30^th May 2025, we were thrilled to host a fantastic celebration marking 15 years of dedicated service to our community. The day was filled with joy, entertainment, and heartfelt support, all while raising money for an incredibly important cause — Parkinson’s awareness and support.

From start to finish, the event was alive with energy and warmth. Kicking off at 10:00, we were treated to a brilliant performance by Dappa Dance, who brought vibrancy and talent to the stage. 

We were honoured to welcome the local Mayor and Consort Elect, whose presence brought a special sense of occasion. The team from Vibe 1 Radio attended the event, helping us spread the celebration across the wider community.

A huge thank you to all our amazing vendors who helped make the day extra special:

• Rainbow crafts, who delighted guests with homemade gifts
• Aggie’s Accessories, offering beautiful personalised jewellery
• Sugar & Slice, who tempted everyone with delicious homemade cakes
• Howe & Co, serving traditional fish and chips from their well-loved van
• Tropic Skincare, Offering packages of pampering

There was fun for all ages with our family-friendly games, including Grab a Bottle, Guess the Name of the Bear, and Guess the Weight of the Cake, Hook a Duck and mystery box raffle — all enjoyed with much laughter and friendly competition.

Most importantly, thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended and supported the event, we’re proud to share that we raised an impressive £787.07 for Parkinson’s. Every penny will go toward making a real difference in the lives of those affected by this condition.

As we reflect on 15 years of service, this celebration was a perfect reminder of what makes our community so special — people coming together with purpose, care, and heart.
