On 26th June, our Thurrock & Castle Point office was transformed into a heart-warming tribute to the 1940s and 1950s for our Walk Down Memory Lane event. With vintage banners, classic posters, and a striking 50s Diner-style dessert table and photo booth, the atmosphere brought back the charm and nostalgia of days gone by.

Customers and their families joined us for a delightful afternoon tea, where stories flowed as freely as the tea and cakes. Guests shared personal memories of life in the 40s and 50s – from ration books and wartime dances to jukebox hits and milkshakes – creating a beautiful tapestry of lived history.

We’re proud to share that the event also served a meaningful purpose: together, we raised £150 for Dementia UK, supporting their incredible work with families affected by dementia.

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, and helped bring this special day to life. Here’s to more moments that bring generations together – and support causes that matter.
