Our Cowbridge community hub that welcomes everyone to join us for tea, coffee, cake and company
We had a mission and a vision! Isolation and loneliness are two of the hardest things that elderly people live with, day in and day out. So we wanted to encourage the most vulnerable people in our society to meet new people and end the feeling of isolation and loneliness.
Imagine always being busy, working, raising a family, meeting with friends and having the mobility and energy to do it. Then all of a sudden, you are less mobile, have less confidence and everyone is busy with their own lives. We understand how this can feel, so this is why we set up a local community Hub in The Vale called the Forget Me Not Community Hub to welcome everyone who feels like this.
Our Forget Me Not Community Hub is driven from our hearts, and run by our fabulous Hub Co-Ordinator Nicola!
Nicola has worked for Bluebird Care for many years and understands the importance of the hub. Over the last few years, Nicola has helped build the Forget Me Not Community from the ground up with most sessions being full and welcoming everyone who needs support!
It gets us out of the house and talk to others in the community.

Fancy a chat, a laugh, and some lovely company over tea and cake? Then come along to our Forget Me Not Hub! A warm, welcoming space to relax, make friends, and enjoy good company. Everyone’s welcome, whether you’re popping in or staying a while, we would love to see you there!
It allows me to get out and meet old and new friends.

All sessions are free of charge!
We serve tea and biscuits with plenty of laughter. We sometimes have local visitors too, like the local therapy massage practitioner to give free hand massages, the local police officer to tell us about "What's going on" and even the local choir!
It really is a fabulous place to be, and absolutely everyone is welcome.
