IfOpera Afternoon Tea
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming members of our local community to a special Afternoon Tea with IfOpera at the Wiltshire Music Centre. This event was part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the health and well-being of older adults across Wiltshire North.
The Afternoon Tea was open to everyone not just our Bluebird Care customers and was created to help reduce social isolation and promote emotional wellbeing. We wanted to offer a warm, welcoming space where older people and their families could enjoy good company, conversation, and a beautiful culture.
We had a lovely time at the afternoon you put on for Mum" shared one attendee, Jennifer. "You provide wonderful care and entertainment for her. I can only thank you for the precious time we spend with her. Thank you.
At Bluebird Care Wiltshire North, we firmly believe that emotional health is just as important as physical wellbeing. We know that regular social interaction can help reduce loneliness, depression, and cognitive decline in older adults. That’s why we organise events like this, to support preventative care and create meaningful, enjoyable experiences for the people we support.
It’s a real privilege to be able to organise events like this,” said Registered Care Manager, Donna. “It reminds us that care isn’t just about tasks and routines. It’s about building relationships and helping people enjoy life, whatever their circumstances.
We’re incredibly grateful to IfOpera and the Wiltshire Music Centre for partnering with us, and I’d also like to thank our amazing team including our Registered Manager and Directors who helped bring this event to life.
We’re already looking forward to welcoming even more members of the community to future events.
