Wendy O'Brien Care Manager

Bluebird Care appoints Wendy O'Brien as Care Manager

Wendy started her journey in care when she was 18. She started in a care home and really enjoyed being able to support people to promote their independence whilst learning and hearing people's stories. After she learned to drive, she moved on to support people in their own homes as a home care assistant. This amplified her love for care. She then progressed to field supervisor, coordinator and on to Registered Manager. She remained in her first Registered Manager position for 10 years until joining Bluebird Care in June 2025. She is qualified to NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care, Safeguarding Lead Level 5 and is dedicated to improving mental health in the workplace; completing her Mental Health First Aider course.
